Townsville Enterprise operates three Visitor Information Centres as a service for visitors to the region. Townsville Enterprise members are able to promote their product to over 80,000 visitors by displaying their information brochures in the centres. The centres are located at the southern entrance to the city on the Bruce Highway, middle of Flinders Mall and beside the Museum of Tropical Queensland on Flinders Street East.
All three centres offer a diverse array of information about the local region, neighbouring regions and interstate locations. Two of the three centres also offer booking services for visitors with the third centre working closely with a neighbouring travel booker. The centres are staffed by a team of around 90 dedicated volunteers and one fulltime coordinator.
