Queensland Country Week gives Brisbane and South East Queensland residents the opportunity to discover the virtues of living and working in regional Australia. The expo allows people to meet community members from North Queensland and ask questions about relocating to, or investing here. Country Week 2008 was held in Brisbane, 19-21 September.
Townsville Enterprise facilitiated a North Queensland contingent to attend the event. The North Queensland group comprised representatives from all four of the region's councils, Townsville Enterprise staff and local business representatives TP Human Capital and Ferry Property.
