Riverway

Riverway stretches along 11km of the Ross River, opening up the river habitat to greater access by residents and visitors, whist protecting and enhancing its natural beauty.  Riverway combines sport, recreation, business and entertainment in a socially responsible and environmental sustainable destination precinct.  Riverway is located close to Thuringowa’s Central Business District which includes a major shopping centre, a smaller shopping mall and a restaurant and cinema complex.  The Riverway Arts Centre is a state of the art facility which boasts the latest in architectural design.  The Arts Centre is home to Pinnacles Gallery and also wraps part way around two large swimming lagoons.  The Riverway Arts Centre seats up to 400 people lecture style in the Performance Space or 250 banquet style. Two break out areas are available seating 70 and 80 theatre style.

Performance Space

The Performance Space is a contemporary studio style space suitable for presenting a wide range of dance, drama and music events, while maintaining the flexibility to also accommodate conferences and seminars, dinners and balls, product launches and exhibitions.  This space has a maximum audience capacity of 400 seats with 304 of these seats set in a retractable seating arrangement.  A range of sound and lighting equipment is available to cater for a variety of needs.  The room’s capacity in a banquet style is 250.  Venue hire for this space starts at $660.00 per day which includes use of the Riverway Foyer.  Our event team can provide you with a pricing package based on your complete requirements.

Foyer

The 245sqm Foyer has unobstructed views of the upper swimming lagoon and is an ideal venue for product launches, trade displays and meet and greet functions.  With an impressive five metre glass door opening into the spectacular lagoon environment, it is the perfect place to mingle with friends for pre-dinner show drinks at the Foyer Bar which offers full bar services for performances and functions.  Capacity for this space is 150 people.  Full day hire of the Foyer starts at $330.00.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room is 100sqm and features views of the landscaped gardens and the Ross River.  With flexible seating arrangements, it can be presented in board room style, u-shaped, round table or theatre style with rows of seating facing the presenter.  Capacity of this space is up to 70 people theatre style and presentation technologies such as data projectors, DVD/VHS players and laser pointers are available.  Full day hire of this room is priced at $198.00 which includes tables and chairs, lectern and white board or $286.00 which includes tables and chairs, lectern, whiteboard, data projector and screen, DVD/VHS player and a laser pointer.

Rehearsal Room

The Rehearsal Room is perfect as a break out room or additional space for meetings and conferences.  AV equipment and furniture can be set up in this area.  Capacity in this space is 80 people theatre style.  Venue hire pricing starts at $132.00 per day which includes tables and chairs.
